Parents Volunteering at School Should Tailor Skills to Different Stages

"Fewer parents are volunteering at their children’s schools just as new research shows it yields benefits from better grades to lower rates of depression."

The author acknowledges that volunteering may require different roles at different school levels. Thus, offering different types of volunteer opportunities at each level is good way to provide a way for all parents to do some type of volunteer activity. The saying, "one size doesn't fit all," applies here too.
